In an interview with KHABAR ONLINE, MP Ali Motahari says a claim by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that the ninth and tenth administrations (the current and previous administrations) were the best administrations in terms of obedience to the law since the victory of the Islamic Revolution is like a “joke”. He cited an example and pointed to the difference between the administration and the Supreme Audit Court in which the SAC says 1 billion dollar has not been deposited in the treasury but the president says, “Finally, it became clear that auditors had made a mistake,” and this is while the SAC insists on its statement and the issue has been referred to the court. Motahari, also said the remark by the president that “certain people think that they are the employers and the government is their worker” which shows the president’s interpretation of the relations between the Majlis and the administration is the source of conflict between these two branches of government. The MP said the president does not accept that the administration is only obliged to implement the parliamentary approvals. He added if the enforcement of law is interpreted as doing works and setting legislation as being employer then it is true that Majlis is employer and the administration is worker and both of them should take pride in their duties.
TEHRAN-E EMROOZ in a news report says a few days after his dismissal as Shiraz governor Hossein Ghasemi presented a series of information about the deviant current and its activities in Fars province. Ghasemi, he claims he was dismissed because of his resistance against the deviant group’s demands and his disclosure of the group’s economic corruption, argues the group intended to take people to the streets and cause unrest. However, he added, no one welcomed the group and it temporarily backed down. Ghasemi said the group backed down to keep its status in the government. The former governor predicted the group will enter the scene with a new plan in a right time. It is just a political or religious group rather it is an economic mafia group.
